In order for the load-bearing structure of a horizontal floor to be developed further such that all the forces acting horizontally on the floor are optimally absorbed by the load-bearing structure, a connecting element (20) is provided, this connecting element being made up in one piece of a first fastening edge (21), a second fastening edge (22), which is parallel to the first fastening edge, and a central portion (25) between the two fastening edges (21, 22). The first fastening edge (21) is at least indirectly supported on the main profile (1) and connected to it. The second fastening edge (22) is supported on the underside (7A) of one of the panels (7) and connected to this panel (7).
