[origin: WO2022268290A1] A Steam generating device (1) for an oven (10), comprises a vaporizing unit (2), which is configured such to be attachable to a support (3) of a heating section (HS) of the oven (10), wherein the vaporizing unit (2) has a bowl section (BS) for accepting water; and a water supplying device (4) having a water tank (5), a pipe arrangement (6) with a water discharge part (9), a water flow generator (7) for generating a flow of water from the water tank (5) through the pipe arrangement (6), and a washer device (8), wherein the washer device (8) is configured such to be mounted to the heating cavity (HC) and to seal an interior of the heating cavity (HC) from an exterior of the heating cavity (HC) and such that the water discharge part (9) is insertable into the washer device (8) such that the water discharge part (9) penetrates into the heating cavity (HC); wherein the vaporizing unit (2) is attachable such that the bowl section (BS) is positioned below the water discharge part (9) for collecting the water and such that the bowl section (BS) is heated by the heating section (HS) for vaporizing the water.
