[origin: WO2022229526A1] The invention relates to a device (10) for crimping edges of metal sheets by folding one of the edges (31) onto another of the edges (32). The crimping device (10) comprises a support (11) and a crimping blade (12) arranged on the support (11), the crimping blade (12) comprising a crimping twist (13) having a working direction. The crimping device (10) further comprises at least one roller (14) arranged on the support (11) and configured to contact the edge (31) of metal sheets so as to react a folding force exerted by the crimping blade (12) during a movement in the working direction.
