Die Erfindung betrifft Transport- und Lagerbehälter (1) zum Aufbewahren und Transport von Gütern, mit einer Bodenplatte (2) und Seitenwänden (3a-3d), die sich senkrecht von der Bodenplatte (2) aus erstrecken und zusammen eine umlaufende obere Behälterkante (4) ausbilden, wobei wenigstens zwei vorzugsweise zueinander in dem Transport- und Lagerbehälter (1) gegenüberliegend angeordnete Seitenwände (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) zumindest im der Bodenplatte (2) zugewandten Bereich mehrere Ablauföffnungen (5) für Flüssigkeiten aufweisen und die Ablauföffnungen (5) nach außen mittels wenigstens einer außenseitigen Abdeckung (6), vorzugsweise einer durchlaufenden außenseitigen Abdeckung (6), überdeckt sind.
