Abstract (en)

An air conditioner (1000) includes: a refrigerant circuit (500) including at least a compressor (200), a condenser (210), an expansion valve (230), and an evaporator (110), the refrigerant circuit being configured to circulate refrigerant; a heat exchanger (250) configured to exchange heat between the refrigerant that has passed through the condenser (210) and the refrigerant that is suctioned into the compressor (200); a flow rate adjusting device (420) configured to adjust an amount of heat medium supplied to the heat exchanger to cool the heat exchanger (250); a temperature sensor (411) configured to detect a temperature of the heat medium; and a controller (100) configured to control the flow rate adjusting device (420) in accordance with an output of the temperature sensor (411).
