[origin: CA3214449A1] The invention relates to a seat intended to be fixed to the floor of a vehicle, comprising a seat part incorporating a lower frame, and a backrest incorporating an upper frame secured to the lower frame by at least one fastener (21) that allows the backrest to tilt in the event of an impact, by rotation about a transverse axis (AT), this fastener (21) comprising:- a link rod (24) having a first end (27) connected to the lower frame (8) by a first pivot link (P1) of axis (A1) parallel to the transverse axis (AT), and having a second end (29) connected to the upper frame by way of a second pivot link (P2) of axis (A2) parallel to the transverse axis (AT);- each pivot link (P1, P2) having a rotation brake (33, 37) and/or a system of stops limiting its rotation amplitude; - a sacrificial mechanical link (LF) which connects the lower frame to the upper frame while being situated next to the link rod (24).
