[origin: WO2022233517A1] The invention relates to a shut-off valve (1), in particular a cryogenic shut-off valve, with a valve bottom part (4) which has a valve housing accommodating a closure mechanism (49) for shutting off a passage for medium through a channel portion (46), said closure mechanism (49) comprising a valve cone unit (48) and a valve seat (45), and with an extension tube (10) which is mounted on the top of the valve housing and surrounds a spindle (7) and at the upper end portion of which there are mounted operating elements interacting with an adjustment mechanism and comprising a position indicator (22). The position indicator (22) is designed as a sleeve which concentrically surrounds the extension tube (10) and which, at its lower end region, is secured, by a holder (23) which encloses it, so as to be axially immovable relative to the extension tube (10).
