[origin: WO2022233406A1] There is provided mechanisms for phase -alignment between antenna panels at different APs in a distributed MIMO communication system. Each of the antenna panels comprises multiple antenna elements calibrated for uplink-downlink reciprocity. A method is performed by a first AP of the APs. The method comprises determining a reference phase rotation of a second reference signal received from a second AP of the APs. The method comprises transmitting a third reference signal towards the second AP. The third reference signal is phase adjusted with a phase adjustment factor determined from the reference phase rotation.
