[origin: WO2022238336A1] The present invention concerns an aerosol generating device (10) configured to operate with an aerosol generating substrate (12) and comprising: - a device body extending along a device axis (Y) and defining at least one side wall (40); - a cup-shaped heating chamber (45) defining an open end and a closed end opposite to the open end, the heating chamber (45) configured to receive a heater part of the aerosol generating substrate (12); - an ejection mechanism (48) comprising a pushing bar (81) formed from a flexible material and configured to slide within the heating chamber (45) between a retracted position and an ejecting position; the pushing bar (81) comprising a pushing element (89) configured to eject the aerosol generating substrate (12) from the heating chamber (45) by pushing while the pushing bar (81) is sliding from the retracted position to the ejecting position.
