[origin: WO2022238338A1] The present invention concerns an aerosol generating device configured to operate with an aerosol generating substrate and comprising: - a device body extending along a device axis; - a cup-shaped heating chamber (45) defining an open end (70) and at least two heating walls (74A, 74B), the heating chamber (45) being configured to receive a heater part of the aerosol generating substrate through the open end (70); - two heating elements (47A, 47B), each heating (47A, 47B) element being adjacent to a respective heating wall (74A, 74B) of the heating chamber (45); - a controller configured to operate separately each heating element (47A, 47B) with the same aerosol generating substrate, according to a heating profile chosen among a predetermined group of heating profiles.
