The method includes: processing frame parameter information to generate a frame parameter field with a set pattern; packing the frame parameter field with payload data to obtain frame structure data; and sending the frame structure data, wherein the set pattern is used by a receiving end to position the frame parameter field in a received data stream, and subsequently to obtain the frame structure data from the data stream based on the frame parameter field. The above method enables the receiving end to determine the start position of the data frame sent from the sending end without using the synchronization word in the communication system, which improves the efficiency of data transmission in the communication system.
