Beschrieben ist eine Strommesseinrichtung (4) für eine elektrische Maschine, mit einem Sensor (6), mit einem ersten Flussleitelement (9) und mit einem ersten Distanzierungselement (11), wobei das erste Distanzierungselement (11) Endbereiche des ersten Flussleitelementes (9) distanziert oder wobei das erste Distanzierungselement (11) das erste Flussleitelement (9) von einem zweiten Flussleitelement (10) distanziert. Bei einem Verfahren zur Messung eines Stromes einer elektrischen Maschine (1) wird eine beschriebene Strommesseinrichtung (4) verwendet.
