Abstract (en)
The invention provides a process for reducing protease activity in a solution comprising anti-D immunoglobulin G comprising the steps of i) providing a solution comprising anti-D immunoglobulin G; ii) contacting said solution with aluminium hydroxide gel at a pH of 4.70 to 4.90; and iii) separating the solution from the solid components. The use of these conditions reduces protease activity, preferably without reducing yield of anti-D immunoglobulin G.
