[origin: WO2022258171A1] The invention relates to a processing apparatus (100) for foodstuffs such as for example a meat grinder. According to a preferred embodiment, the processing apparatus (100) contains a rotating screw (120) that is mounted in the screw chamber of a screw housing. The screw housing is formed by a stationary component (112) and a movement component (111) that can be moved apart to allow access to the screw chamber. In addition, the screw (120) can be lifted out of the screw chamber by means of a removal device (130).
