Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022258302A1] The invention relates to a method for diagnosing a disease, preferably a respiratory disease, for use within a motor vehicle (80), said method comprising the steps of: recording (100) an audio signal (AS) of a driver of the motor vehicle (80) over a time (T); selecting (120) a characteristic temporal sequence (S) of the audio signal (AS) in order to perform a time-resolved analysis of the audio signal (AS); comparing (140) the audio signal (AS) within the selected characteristic temporal sequence (S) with a comparison signal (VS) in order to determine differences between the audio signal (AS) and the comparison signal (VS); and generating (160) a diagnosis based on the comparison (140) between the audio signal (AS) and the comparison signal (VS), the comparison (140) between the audio signal (AS) and the comparison signal (VS) being performed by means of a time-resolved frequency analysis.
