Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022259194A1] The present invention relates to a recovery-towing assembly (1) comprising a tow cart (2) having an arm (5) supporting a crossmember (6) carrying, at each end, a wheel-supporting fork (7), the cart (2) being movable between a transport position, wherein the forks (7) are raised above the ground, and a loading/unloading position, wherein the forks (7) lay flat on the ground. The assembly (1) comprises a load-bearing support system (3) comprising at least two wheels (15) each connected to the crossmember (6) by a connecting assembly (12, 13) and movable between a folded position, wherein they are behind the crossmember (6) and do not extend below the plane of the latter, and an extended position, wherein the wheels (15) extend below the plane, and, when in use, the weight of the vehicle is transmitted to the wheels (15) by the connecting assemblies (12, 13), the assembly (1) further comprising means for damping the pivoting movement of the arm (5).
