Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022258363A1] The invention relates to a method for operating a multi-voltage vehicle electrical system (110) for a motor vehicle comprising an internal combustion engine, a first subsystem (10) which is operable at a first operating voltage and a second subsystem (20) which is operable at a second operating voltage, the first operating voltage being higher than the second operating voltage, and the first subsystem (10) and the second subsystem (20) being connected to one another via a DC voltage converter (30), the first subsystem (10) having a first battery (13), and, when it is detected that the second subsystem (20) is connected to an external voltage source, the DC voltage converter (30) is controlled so that current flows from the second subsystem (20) into the first subsystem (10) (S2). The method also relates to a computing unit and a computer program for carrying out the method.
