[origin: WO2022258140A1] The invention relates to a method for producing compositions, in which method a) compounds selected from hydroxy-terminated homopolymer or copolymer polyphenylene ethers and phenols are reacted with b) chlorosilane of formula (I) alone or in a mixture with disiloxane of formula (IV) R1 aR2 bSiCl4 -a-b (I), [R1 (3-b)R2 bSi]2O (IV) in the presence of water and solvent, wherein R1, R2, a and b have the meanings stated in claim 1; to the compositions which can be produced according to the method; and to the application of the compositions for use as binders for producing moulded bodies having constant dielectric properties.
