[origin: WO2022258262A1] The invention relates to a machine for producing or treating a fibrous web, in particular a paper or cardboard web, comprising a wire section, a pressing section and a drying section. Here, the fibrous web is taken over following the last press nip of the pressing section by way of a first circulating dryer fabric of the drying section from a circulating lower fabric which is guided through the last press nip of the pressing section. Together with the first dryer fabric of the drying section, the fibrous web is guided generally vertically upwards along an impingement drying section, along which the lower side of the fibrous web is dried by way of at least one impingement dryer.
