The invention relates to a tool (1) for installing components (2), the tool (1) comprising a connecting portion (7) configured to be arranged between two fingers (8, 9) of a hand (10) of a person (6). The connecting portion (7) comprises a first longitudinal extension (11). The tool (1) comprises an installing portion (12) configured to be supported on a first side (13) of the fingers (8, 9), the installing portion (12) comprising a second longitudinal extension (14) extending angularly to the first longitudinal extension (11). The tool (1) comprises a supporting portion (15) comprising a third longitudinal extension (14) extending angularly to the first longitudinal extension (11), wherein the installing portion (12) and the supporting portion (15) are connected with each other by the connecting portion (7).
