The first cladding element (23.1) has at least one second connection means (24.2) in the form of a hook for interacting with the first connection means (24.1) while holding the first cladding element (23.1) against the first lateral wall unit (2.1). Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Fahrwegvorrichtung (1), insbesondere Fahrtreppenvorrichtung, aufweisend eine Tragstruktur (2) mit zwei sich gegenüberliegende Seitenwandeinheiten (2.1, 2.2) jeweils mit einem Obergurt (4.1), einem Untergurt (4.2) und einer sich zwischen Obergurt (4.1) und Untergurt (4.2) erstreckenden Seitenwand (3) und zumindest ein erstes Verkleidungselement (23.1) zum Verkleiden der Fahrwegvorrichtung (1) von einer Seite, wobei zumindest eine erste Seitenwandeinheit (2.1) zumindest ein erstes Verbindungsmittel (24.1) zum unmittelbaren Halten des ersten Verkleidungselements (23.1) an der ersten Seitenwandeinheit (2.1) aufweist, wobei das zumindest eine erste Verbindungsmittel (24.1) gegenüber einem Referenzpunkt (18) der Tragstruktur (2) definiert positioniert ist und wobei das erste Verkleidungselement (23.1) zumindest ein zweites Verbindungsmittel (24.2) zum Zusammenwirken mit dem ersten Verbindungsmittel (24.1) beim Halten des ersten Verkleidungselements (23.1) an der ersten Seitenwandeinheit (2.1) aufweist.
