[origin: WO2022263127A1] One aspect of the invention relates to a photovoltaic string (STR) comprising a first photovoltaic cell (CEL1) interconnected to a second photovoltaic cell (CEL2) by partially overlapping the second photovoltaic cell, the photovoltaic string being characterised in that it comprises a plurality of connection elements (EC1) electrically connecting the first cell to a remote metal connector (M1), the connection elements extending across the first photovoltaic cell, and beyond the first photovoltaic cell, to the metal connector.
