Abstract (en)
There is described a folding apparatus (16) for producing finalized packages (2) from semi-finalized packs (5) having a central main body (8), at least one flap (9) and at least one sealing fin. The folding apparatus (16) comprises at least a plurality of retaining pockets (32) and a conveying device (33). Each retaining pocket (32) comprises a respective folding device (45) configured to fold the respective sealing fin (10) and the respective flap (9). Each folding device (45) comprises a folding element (46) moveable between a rest position and an active position for folding the sealing fin (10) and the flap (9). The folding apparatus (16) further comprises an actuation unit (48) configured to move each folding element (46).
