Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2022268514A1] The invention relates to a machine tool having a first rechargeable battery and a second rechargeable battery, wherein the machine tool has a first power electronics unit with a first inverter and a second power electronics unit with a second inverter, wherein the first inverter is in electrical connection with the first rechargeable battery and the second inverter is in electrical connection with the second rechargeable battery. The first power electronics unit comprises a first charge equalizer, while the second power electronics unit comprises a second charge equalizer. The charge equalizers are configured to equalize charge between the rechargeable batteries. In addition, the machine tool comprises a device for controlling speed. In a second aspect, the invention relates to a method for equalizing charge between two rechargeable batteries in a machine tool. The charge is preferably equalized in this case by a different distribution of load over the charge equalizers of the power electronics units.
