[origin: WO2023275308A1] The invention relates to an aqueous lubricant composition comprising at least: - water; - from 0.1% to 15% by mass of at least one water-soluble polyalkylene glycol; and - from 0.1% to 15% by mass of at least one alkoxylated castor oil, preferably ethoxylated castor oil. The invention further relates to the use of such an aqueous lubricant composition as a lubricant in a metalworking process, in particular for reducing, or even preventing, the formation of gummy residues.
