[origin: WO2023281380A1] The invention relates to a device (2) for longitudinally adjusting a seat, comprising at least: - two mutually spaced rail pairs (3) and - at least one locking element (4), wherein: the rail pairs (3) are each formed by an upper rail (31) and a lower rail (32) which are movable in relation to one another; the at least one locking element (4) is movably mounted on the upper rail (31) in a spring-loaded manner and, in a locking position (S1), blocks a movement of the upper rail (31) in the lower rail (32) and, in an unlocking position (S2), releases the movement; and an undesired movement of the locking element (4) out of the locking position (S1) is at least limited or blocked by means of a blocking element (98). The invention also relates to a seat (1) having this kind of device (2) for longitudinally adjusting a seat.
