[origin: WO2023280849A1] The invention relates to a round sling for raising loads, consisting of a load-carrying inner nonwoven fabric, which inner nonwoven fabric is formed from a continuous roll of a plurality of supporting threads running substantially parallel to one another and a protective sleeve in the form of a textile protective tube surrounding the inner nonwoven fabric with a radial degree of freedom, the protective tube being a textile fabric woven from warp and weft threads. The textile fabric consists of a multi-layer woven fabric in which each of the woven fabric layers has warp threads which run in the longitudinal direction (L) or longitudinal extent of the protective tube and which consist of fibres or threads having a low expansion capacity in relation to their high tensile strength, and the weft threads running transversely to the longitudinal direction having a high expansion capacity in relation to their tensile strength, the woven fabric layers of the multi-layer woven fabric having further weft threads running transversely to the longitudinal direction which have a high expansion capacity in relation to their tensile strength.
