[origin: WO2023285209A1] The invention relates to a feeding device (1) for loading and unloading a radially opening ammunition cup (2) for an automatic loading system of a gun, the loading/unloading being accomplished through a loading opening (4) located at a rear of the loading system, and the feeding device (1) comprising a slide (7) and a holding device (8), wherein: the slide (7) can be moved from a first position (7.1) at least partly outside the housing (3) into a second position (7.2) at least partly inside the housing (3) and vice versa; the holding device (8) is designed to be loaded with the round of ammunition (6) and unloaded when the first position (7.1) is occupied; when the second position (7.2) is occupied, the holding device (8) is able both to transfer a round of ammunition (6) disposed in the holding device (8) to the ammunition cup (2) and to remove a round of ammunition (6) disposed in the ammunition cup (2) from the ammunition cup (2).
