[origin: WO2023285283A1] The invention relates to an intermediate plug (1) for disconnecting a DC voltage, comprising a housing (2), a first connection (3) for connecting a first electric line, and a second connection (4) for connecting a second electric line. An electrically conductive switchable connection (5) is produced between the first connection (3) and the second connection (4). By virtue of the intermediate plug (1), the occurrence of an arc can be easily prevented when separating an electric line connected to the intermediate plug in that a switch device (8) is arranged in the housing (2) for switching the electrically conductive connection (5) between the first connection (3) and the second connection (4), wherein the switch device (8) can be brought from a first switch state into a second switch state, the electrically conductive connection (5) is separated and/or blocks a current in the first switch state, and the electrically conductive connection (5) is closed and/or conducts a current in the second switch state; in that the intermediate plug (1) has a locking device (9, 10) for locking the first line in the connected state and for locking the second line in the connected state, said locking device (9, 10) being capable of being brought from an unlocking position into a locking position; and in that the switch device (8) is brought from the first switch state into the second switch state by bringing the locking device (9, 10) from the unlocking position into the locking position.
