[origin: WO2023001892A1] The invention relates to a pivot device (1) for an excavator for pivoting an attachment. The pivot device (1) can be detachably fixed to an excavator arm end of an excavator arm of the excavator. The pivot device (1) has a pivot device body (3), which can be fixed to the excavator arm, and at least one pivot actuator (7) in the form of a linear drive. The at least one pivot actuator (7) has two components (8, 9) which can be displaced relative to one another along a longitudinal axis (11) of the pivot actuator (7). The pivot device (1) has an attachment receptacle (4) which is mounted on the pivot device body (3) such that it can pivot about a pivot axis (5) . The pivot device (1) has at least one pivot actuator mount (8) which is fixed to the pivot device body (3). The pivot actuator (7) is hinged to the at least one pivot actuator mount (8) by a first component (10) and is hinged to the attachment receptacle (4) by a second component (9) . The attachment receptacle (4) can be pivoted about the pivot axis (5) by means of the pivot actuator (7). The second component (9) is arranged displaceably at least in some portions inside a volume surrounded at least in some portions by the first component (10).
