[origin: WO2023001438A1] An installation tool (10) for installing a belt (21) on a belt drive (20) is disclosed. When installed, the belt is wrapped, under tensile stress (22), around at least one first pulley (23) and at least one second pulley (24), which is mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation (24A). The installation tool (10) has a hook (11), which can be brought into engagement with one of the pulleys (23), and a pressing surface (12), which is located relative to the hook (11) such that, when the hook (11) is hooked in the pulley, the pressing surface presses the belt (21) flat onto the pulley (24) so that, after a rotation of the pulley (24) about the axis of rotation (24A) while the hook (11) is hooked in, the belt (21) is wrapped around the pulley (24).
