[origin: WO2023001673A2] An apparatus for providing audio coverage in a room having a first loudspeaker and a second loudspeaker, having the following features: a drive signal generator (10) for generating a first drive signal (15a) for the first loudspeaker and a second drive signal (15b) for the second loudspeaker, wherein the drive signal generator (10) has the following features: a mixed signal generator stage (12) for generating a first mixed signal (13a) for the first drive signal (15a) and a second mixed signal (13b) for the second drive signal (15b) from a first channel signal (6) or a second channel signal (8), in such a way that the first mixed signal (13a) and the second mixed signal (13b) have a phase difference; a mixer stage (14) for mixing the first channel signal (6) with the first mixed signal (13a), in order to obtain the first drive signal (15a), and for mixing the second channel signal (8) with the second mixed signal (13b), in order to obtain the second drive signal (15b); and an interface (16) for transmitting the first drive signal (15a) to the first loudspeaker and for transmitting the second drive signal (15b) to the second loudspeaker.
