[origin: WO2023006256A1] The invention relates to a filter housing (114) for a filter system (100) for filtering a gaseous fluid, in particular for a self-cleaning engine intake air filter system, having a receiving space (112) for at least one filter element (40), having an inlet opening (102) for a fluid to be filtered, and an outlet opening (106) for the filtered fluid, said inlet and outlet openings being arranged in a housing wall (116), wherein the at least one filter element (40) when installed as intended is provided between the inlet opening (102) and the outlet opening (106) to separate an untreated side (50) from a clean side (52), wherein an incident-flow guard (124) is arranged on a housing segment (120) which has the inlet opening (102), said incident-flow guard (124) being spaced apart in the radial direction from the housing segment (120), being directed towards the receiving space (112) and extending essentially only over the inlet opening (102). The invention further relates to a filter system (100) with a filter housing (114).
