[origin: WO2023006888A1] The invention relates to the integration of a risk assessment of a collision between a robotic device (26) and a human operator into a controller (20) thereof, comprising: a) an assessment module (23) reading (19) command data (24) from a program module (21); b) the assessment module reading (2) machine data (25) specifying the robotic device from a control module (22); c) the assessment module determining (8) at least one hazard risk on the basis of the read data and a saved associated risk profile (k, k+1), which contains necessary information for determination of the hazard risk; d) classifying (9) the hazard risk; depending thereon: i) determining (10) measure(s) (27, 28) for reducing the hazard risk and outputting (11) these measure(s) for selection by a user, or (ii) outputting an alert; f) after selection (12) of a measure: the assessment module outputting (13) a control signal for implementing the selected measure(s) in the program module and/or in the control module.
