Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2023006709A1] The invention relates to a method for controlling a motor vehicle (100), comprising the steps of: • - determining an initial trajectory (T0) for the motor vehicle (100), • - acquiring data relating to the surroundings of the motor vehicle, • - calculating a risk of the motor vehicle colliding with an obstacle (900), taking into account the determined initial trajectory (T0) and the acquired data and, subsequently, if the risk of colliding with the obstacle exceeds a risk threshold, • - calculating a time to collision (TTC) and, subsequently, if the time to collision (TTC) is below a time threshold (Tcrit), • - activating a warning driving mode, according to which: • a new trajectory (Tl) is determined by the computer (140), the new trajectory (Tl) making it possible to minimise the risk of collision with the obstacle (900) to prevent the occurrence of a serious injury, and an actuator for controlling the steering of the motor vehicle (100) is controlled by the computer (140) to follow the new trajectory (T1).
