[origin: WO2023007065A1] The invention relates to a vehicle storage device comprising a lid (20) mounted so as to pivot about a first transverse axis on a housing (10) between open and closed positions, wherein first resilient means return the lid to the open position, a push-push mechanism capable of locking the lid in the closed position, as well as a safety mechanism comprising a pendulum (36) mounted so as to pivot about a second transverse axis (C) on the housing and comprising a locking member (38) provided to co-operate in abutment with an element (39) of the lid when the housing is subjected to an acceleration in a longitudinal direction so as to prevent the unintentional opening of the lid, the safety mechanism also comprising second resilient means (40) that return the pendulum to a rest position in which it bears against a first abutment (42) provided on the housing.
