[origin: WO2023006320A1] The invention relates to a hinge assembly (100), in particular a concealed hinge assembly (100), for securing doors or windows in a rotatable manner about a hinge axis, having a cartridge (3) and a hinge bracket (4) which is partly arranged in a receiving region (9) of the cartridge (3). The hinge axis is parallel to a vertical direction (V), wherein the hinge bracket (4) is inserted into the receiving region (9) along a horizontal direction (H) which is orthogonal to the vertical direction (V), and the cartridge (3) has a nose (5) in the receiving region (9) for engaging into a recess (6) of the hinge bracket (4) and for holding the hinge bracket (4). The invention additionally relates to a method for installing a hinge assembly (100).
