Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Werkzeugaufnahmevorrichtung für einen Bohr- oder Meißelhammer, umfassend einen rohrförmigen Werkzeugaufnahmekörper (1) für ein Werkzeug (2), an dessen Endanschlag ein koaxial rückwärtig angeordneter Schlagstößel (3) eines Schlagwerks vorgesehen ist, wobei der rohrförmige Werkzeugaufnahmekörper (1) mit einem dessen Wandbereich radial durchdringenden Verriegelungsmechanismus (4) zusammenwirkt, dessen entlang des Umfangs des Werkzeugaufnahmekörpers (1) angeordnete und per Feder (5) in der verriegelten Stellung gehaltenen Klinkenelemente (6) mittels einer äußeren Stellhülse (7) durch Axialverschiebung entgegen der Federwirkrichtung in die entriegelte Stellung zur Entnahme des eingesteckten Werkzeugs (2) überführbar ist, wobei dass an der Außenmantelfläche des Werkzeugaufnahmekörpers (1) eine Umfangsnut (8) zur formschlüssigen Fixierung eines Elastomerringelements (10) vorgesehen ist, welcher in der verriegelten Stellung stirnseitig an einem korrespondierenden Verriegelungsring (11) zum formschlüssigen Niederhalten der Klinkenelemente (6) in der verriegelten Stellung zur Anlage kommt.
