It is provided here that a bearing system is provided in the lower end region, that the bearing system has a bearing part and a counter-bearing part, that at least one bearing element is provided, that, in the case of a pivoting movement of the arm, the at least one bearing element can be adjusted in the circumferential direction of the pivoting movement, that the bearing part has a latching structure which is arranged in the circumferential direction of the pivoting movement, and that the bearing element is in contact with the latching structure. The lifting apparatus provides simple operability and a reliable method of operation.
