[origin: WO2023016648A1] The invention relates to a shank pick releasing tool (1) for releasing a rotatable shank pick (2), which is configured to be axially fixated in a working machine (26), wherein the releasing tool (1) comprises: an adapter device (8) with a first grip portion (4); and a wrench device (10), wherein the first grip portion (4) is configured to be connected to a drive profile (6) of the rotatable shank pick (2), wherein the first grip portion (4) of the adapter device (8) comprises first protrusions (12), which are configured to engage in first recesses (14) in the drive profile (6) of the rotatable shank pick (2), and wherein the adapter device (8) is comprised in the wrench device (10).
