Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2023020837A1] The present invention relates to a grinder having a motor, wherein the grinder can be connected to a grinding disc. The grinder is designed to make possible, in addition to a grinding motion in a flat plane, a wobbling motion of the grinding disc when the grinding disc is connected to the grinder. As a result, the grinder is particularly capable of performing a grinding motion which constitutes a superimposition of a grinding motion in a flat plane and a wobbling motion of the grinding disc. As a result, the grinder can be operated in two working modes, wherein the wobbling motion can be switched off by a locking device. The invention also relates to a method for operating a grinder and to a grinding disc for the grinder, the grinding disc having an imbalance to support the wobbling motion.
