[origin: WO2023020746A1] The invention relates to a method for waste-free manufacturing of insulating material products made of mineral wool, in which, in a first production region (A) during a plurality of processing steps (7)-(14), an insulating material product (30) is produced, and the granular and fibrous production waste (19)-(29), which results during storage and transport of the mineral input materials (2) and after the melt has exited a cupola furnace or an electric arc furnace or a gas-fired melting furnace (1), is collected, comminuted and supplied to an inductively heated melting furnace (38) in a second production region (B), and the removed melt (39) is processed to form an insulating material product (44) using the known processing steps (40), wherein the granular and fibrous production waste (41) occurring in the second production region (B) during the processing steps (40) is supplied to the inductively heated melting furnace (38) as a constituent of the feed material. Mineral input materials (35), such as basalt, dolomite and mineral wool waste which do not originate from either of the two production regions (A) and (B), can also be supplied to the inductively heated melting furnace (38).
