[origin: WO2023020863A1] The invention relates to a method for assembling a stator body for an axial flux electric machine, the stator body comprising a disc-shaped plate centred on a longitudinal axis and teeth distributed on an upper face of the plate about the longitudinal axis, the plate having at least one slot and at least one of the teeth having a projecting relief, said method comprising a step (e3) of inserting the relief into the slot. According to the invention, the method comprises a step (e4) of mechanically deforming the relief so as to immobilize the relief in the slot.
