Abstract (en)
An aerosol generating device for aerosolising an aerosol precursor, the aerosol generating device comprising a device body a heater assembly (100). The heater assembly (100) includes a base (102) configured to fix the heater assembly (100) within the device body and a heating element (104) protruding from the base (102), the heating element (104) operable to aerosolise the aerosol precursor. The heater assembly (100) further includes a coating (106) extending over the heating element (104) and at least a portion of the base (102), the coating (106) covering an interface between the heating element (104) and the base (102).
