[origin: WO2024132980A1] The present invention relates to a device for reducing or even eliminating edge dendrites that form on a metal deposition plate (6) in a metal extraction process using electrolytic reduction, said device comprising a piece (1) that is non-conducting, at least along a first surface (2) or, respectively, a second surface (3), proximal to the anode (4) and to the cathode (5) at their respective edge (8', 8') in use, said piece (1) further having a groove (9) connecting the first and second surfaces (2, 3), said groove (9) being positioned in the direction of flow of the electrolyte to create an increase in the width of the electrolytic channel (7) between the anode (4) and the cathode (5).

La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif pour réduire, voire supprimer, les dendrites de rive qui se forment sur une plaque de dépôt métallique (6) dans un procédé d'extraction de métal par réduction électrolytique, ledit dispositif comprenant une pièce non conductrice (1) au moins selon une première surface (2), respectivement une seconde surface (3), proximale de l'anode (4) et de la cathode (5) au niveau de leur rive respective (8', 8") en utilisation, ladite pièce (1) possédant en outre une gorge (9) connectant la première et la seconde surfaces (2, 3), ladite gorge (9) étant positionnée dans le sens de l'écoulement de l'électrolyte pour créer une augmentation de la largeur du canal électrolytique (7) entre l'anode (4) et la cathode (5).
