[origin: WO2023025745A1] The present invention relates to a toilet brush cleaning system of the type that comprises a toilet brush washing unit (50) for installation in a room, the unit (50) including a toilet brush washing chamber (70) with a plurality of water inlets (185) and a water outlet (76), a supporting structure (150) for mounting the unit (50) to a wall structure (6, 7, 10), the wall structure (6, 7, 10) including a wall plate (10) delimiting a concealed space (CS) with water supply piping (110) and water discharge piping, and a water trap (100) configured to be connected to the water discharge piping. According to the invention the supporting structure (150) is configured for carrying the toilet brush washing unit (50) in a position on a front side (FS) of the supporting structure (150), which front side is intended for facing the room, and for carrying the water trap (100) in a position on a rear side (RS) of the supporting structure (150).The invention also relates to a method of installing a system of the aforementioned type, where the supporting structure (150) is configured for carrying the water trap (100) in a position on a rear side (RS) of the supporting structure (150), which method comprises the steps of first positioning and securing one or more joists (6, 7), such as of wood or metal, along a building construction wall (5), then mounting the supporting structure (150) to at least one of the joists (6, 7) or to the building construction wall, then securing the water trap (100) to the supporting structure (150), in the aforementioned position on the rear side (RS) of the supporting structure (150), then connecting the domestic water discharge piping of the building to the water trap (100), then mounting a wall plate (10) to the joists (6, 7), to delimit the concealed space, then mounting the toilet brush washing unit (50) to a front side (FS) of the supporting structure (150), then connecting the water outlet (76) to the water trap (100) and connecting the water inlets (185) to the domestic water supply piping (110).
