[origin: WO2023031181A1] The invention relates to a cleaning module (1) for the stationary external cleaning of kegs (3), comprising at least one partially closed cleaning chamber (10), a holding arrangement (12) for rotatably holding an individual keg (3), and at least one washing device (14) for generating a cleaning agent jet and/or water jet (RW), wherein the at least partially closed cleaning chamber (10) forms a cleaning space (11) for an individual keg (3) in which the individual keg (3) can be received for stationary external cleaning, wherein the holding arrangement (12) is designed to hold the individual keg (3) at least during the stationary external cleaning operation and to rotate it about its longitudinal axis (LA) by means of a motor, and wherein the washing device (14) is designed to externally clean the individual keg (3) by applying the cleaning agent jet and/or water jet (RW), generated by the washing device (14), to at least part of the lateral surface of said keg and/or to at least part of an upper side (3a) of the keg (3) that comprises a keg fitting (2), and/or to at least part of an underside (3b) of the keg (3).
