Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2023036925A1] The invention relates to a drop dispenser (10) for discharging a liquid in drops, in particular for discharging a pharmaceutical liquid in drops. The drop dispenser has a liquid reservoir (14) for storing the liquid prior to the discharge process and a discharge opening (16) which is associated with a drop-forming geometry (18). The drop dispenser (10) has a pump device (40), by means of which liquid can be pumped out of the liquid reservoir (14) and to the discharge opening (16) so that the liquid collects on the drop-forming geometry (18) and is released from the drop-forming geometry (18) when a sufficient quantity of liquid is collected. The drop dispenser (10) according to the invention has a flat housing (12), within which the liquid dispenser and the pump device are arranged, and the outer shape of the flat housing (12) has a maximum width orthogonally to a main axis (2) of the housing, said maximum width being at least 25% greater than the maximum thickness of the outer shape of the housing (12) orthogonally to the main axis and orthogonally to the width. An actuation handle (24) which can be pressed in is provided on a lateral surface of the housing (12) in order to actuate the pump device (40).
