(54)Rotary electric machine

(57) A rotary electric machine (1) includes: a stator (3) accommodated in a housing (2); a first rotor (4) fixed to the shaft (21), disposed radially inward of the stator (3); and separated by a first air gap and a rotatable magnetic flux supply element (41) being rotatable relative to the shaft (21), disposed radially inward of the first rotor (4) across a second air gap, and comprising auxiliary magnets (44). Its auxiliary magnets (44) are radially opposed to holding magnets (23) of the first rotor when the relative rotation angle of the magnetic flux supply element (41) is a strengthening angle. A control device (5) that causes the stator (3) executes field weakening or field strengthening by controlling a d-axis current supplied to coils (15) and thereby changing the relative position of the magnetic flux supply element (41) to the first rotor (4).
