    (57) The invention relates to a method of stimulating the cells of the immune system of a host to produce antibodies and/or effector cells specific to the male antigen(s), to the antibodies and/or effector cells produced and to the use thereof in sex determination. In particular, the method includes positioning an implant carrying male antigen(s) within or in contact with the splenic substance of the host.
